For 2026, the SMARTIES™ framework has been updated to better reflect how marketing organizations operate today and how impactful work is now delivered across connected ecosystems. The awards are now organized into four core channels: Purpose Driven Marketing, Impact Marketing, Media & Growth, and Creative & Innovation Impact. This structure aligns SMARTIES™ programs globally while allowing each market to recognize work that best represents local excellence. 

Winning a SMARTIES™ Award carries influence beyond the trophy. SMARTIES™ Unplugged Indonesia 2026: A Learning Platform for Stronger, Smarter Entries 

As part of the SMARTIES™ Indonesia 2026 awards season, MMA Indonesia will host MMA SMARTIES™ Unplugged Indonesia 2026 on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Midaz Senayan Golf, Jakarta, under the theme “Strategic Brilliance in Action: Campaigns That Redefine Excellence.  

The event will bring together around 150+ senior professionals (Change it – make it exactly like the brief and level of ppl ) from brands, agencies, media, publishers, and tech companies to unpack the strategy, creativity, technology, and business outcomes behind Indonesia’s most awarded campaigns from SMARTIES Awards Indonesia 2025.  

This positions SMARTIES™ Unplugged as both a learning platform and an industry catalyst, helping participants improve submission quality, better understand category expectations, and build stronger cases grounded in results. 

The program will feature opening remarks from MMA Indonesia leaders, selected winning case studies, jury perspectives on what defines excellence, and conversations on how creativity, media, data, and technology are shaping more effective marketing. SMARTIES 2026 Award Categories is organized into four key channels representing the pillars of marketing excellence today: Purpose Driven Marketing, Impact Marketing, Media & Growth, and Creative & Innovation Impact. In order to qualify, campaigns need to have been active in the marketplace between January 2025 and June 2026. All submissions must be in by July 9, 2026.
